| Whonnock Lake Centre is located at the entrance of Whonnock Lake Park. The address is 27871 113th Avenue.

| The Whonnock Community Association built the Centre with financial support of the Federal, Provincial and Municipal governments as well as corporate and personal donors. The Association opened the doors of Whonnock Lake Centre on July 16, 1988 and their board and other volunteers have managed the operation of the Centre for the last 25 years. In the course of this year management will be transferred to Parks and Leisure Services of the District of Maple Ridge . |
| Throughout the year the facility is the hub of the community's activities where a selection of popular programs and events are offered. Regular programs at the Centre include those of Westcoast Shotokan Karate, Iron Mountain Movement, Jaimee Stokes Fitness and Yoga. |

| Whonnock
Lake Centre is just behind the gates to Whonnock Lake Park. To reach
the Centre from Vancouver take Highway 7 East (Lougheed Highway)
past Maple Ridge. Continue on Highway 7 with the river on the right. |
| Just
where the road narrows from four to two lanes turn left (north)
on 272nd Street. Follow the road up the hill and through the community
and turn right on 112th Avenue. Pass the school and the fire hall
and turn left on 276th Street. |
| Follow the road and turn right on 113th Avenue. Follow the road to the Centre. |
The first parking lot is directly across from the Centre. If this area is full, there are more parking spaces to the east in the park. Please do not park on the roadways. RVs are NOT permitted at any time anywhere and no overnight camping is allowed. |
The park gates are locked at 2 a.m. during wedding events. Otherwise the park gates are opened at 8am and closed at dusk.
